The Road To Hell

Let's see if I have this correct. The American economy is crippled by misfeasance, malfeasance, inept government intervention, high taxes, intransigent labor unions, welfare statism, an increasingly less educated and motivated workforce, unfair foreign competition and a government fiscal timebomb that is only projected to get worse. Now, how will the Obama Administration deal with this? His proposed economic stimulus, retread economic advisors, coupled with a new and even more socialist and corrupt Congressional majority are early indicators that Obama's "change" will leave us with just that in our wallets.
I see no silver lining. I have just finished e-mailing our two (D) senators excoriating Congress for continuing to oversee the destruction of the world's greatest economy. With all levels of government now absorbing 40-50% of total GDP and a national debt >$10 trillion, the U.S. no longer has the financial resources to recover and grow its way out of the wilderness. And no one in authority has the stones to be honest about this.
Projection: within 10 years our currency and economy will face total collapse.
Can anyone convince me otherwise?
